Dingley Village Community Bank branch is a locally owned and operated company functioning as a franchise of Bendigo Bank. Once the local company makes an operating surplus, 80 percent of its profits are to be reinvested back into the local community. Therefore, by banking with your local Community Bank branch, you’re supporting your local community.

Here at the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank, we proudly support the local and wider community through sponsorship and grant funding. We participate in community projects of all sizes, shapes and manners. In fact, since opening our doors in April 2002, we have contributed almost $5 million back into our local community to strengthen community connection, encouraging innovation and building our community here in Dingley Village and the surrounding areas.

Our ability to provide such support has been made possible by the customers of our Community Bank Branch in Dingley Village. Only by continuing to grow and engage our diverse customer base can we continue to provide more funding, to more organisations, into the future.

Our unique banking model facilitates and encourages participation from all within our community and beyond. We seek to encourage a diverse range of organisations and groups to apply for Community Sponsorships and Community Grants.

In completing the application form, we provide you with the following information and guidelines to assist your organisation in its endeavours and objectives. Please carefully consider the guidelines herein, and we look forward to working with you in strengthening not just your organisation, but our thriving and unique community!

Community Sponsorship and Grants Guidelines:

Dingley Village Community Bank Branch is committed to developing mutually beneficial community partnerships that assist all in achieving their desired outcomes.

Specially, we are looking for community partners that:

Afford and promote opportunities for Dingley Village Community Bank Branch

Promote visibility within the local and wider community

Facilitate support for our Community Bank and its products by fostering ongoing relationships with Boards and Committees,
whilst encouraging members and affiliates to bank with Dingley Village Community Bank Branch.

Items to consider:

Will the proposed funding benefit the community?

Will your organisation benefit from a partnership with our Community Bank?

How will Dingley Village Community Bank Branch benefit from this association?

As our community partners, there are several expectations we have of you when sponsoring your organisation or group. Of course, with these expectations come exciting opportunities for both parties. As a guide, we will consider applications based on the following categories, which can be tailored to suit your specific organisation or group.

Sponsorship: $1 - $10,000

Sponsorship plays a valuable role in financially supporting local community organisations and in promoting your local Community Bank branches. For example, most local sports organisations depend on the financial support of sponsors while your local Community Bank branches depend on customers, many of whom are members of local sports organisations. Therefore, neither could survive without the other. Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd provides sponsorship funds of $1 – $10,000 to local organisations of a range of types, for a range of purposes, .

Expectations up to $1,000.00:

Open an active bank account with Dingley Village Community Bank Branch

Dingley Village Community Bank Branch logo acknowledgement on all marketing, referencing the sponsorship

Internal promotion with logo, including sponsorship attribution to be included on all forms of social media and relevant signage

Photographs of Dingley Village Community Bank Branch staff and/or board representatives with key organisers within your organisation or group

Typically, we would expect that your organisation or group would refer at least one customer to the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch (business or home loan) within a twelve (12) month period

Expectations up to $3,000.00:

As a minimum, we would expect the same opportunities as per $1,000.00, plus:-

Inclusion of Dingley Village Community Bank Branch in any external media publications and opportunities, demonstrating our support

Invitations to representatives of the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch to attend relevant meetings of senior organisers and officials (i.e. Committee meetings and functions)

Typically, we would expect that your organisation or group would refer at least two customers to the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch (business or home loan) within a twelve (12) month period.

Expectations up to $5,000.00:

As a minimum, we would expect the same opportunities as per $3,000.00, plus:-

A minimum of one speaking opportunity by a representative of the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch to address a large number of members or affiliates of the organisation or group

Permanent signage at the venue (if applicable)

Typically, we would expect that your organisation or group would refer at least four customers to the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch (business or home loan) within a twelve (12) month period.

Expectations up to $10,000.00:

As a minimum, we would expect the same opportunities as per $5,000.00; and

Typically, we would expect that your organisation or group would refer at least six customers to the Dingley Village Community Bank Branch (business or home loan) within a twelve (12) month period.

Special conditions for applying for SPONSORSHIP/FUNDING:

All request must be submitted through the Community Sponsorship and Grants website

All requests must be approved by the Board and/or nominated Sub-committee of Dingley Village Financial Services Limited.

All outcomes of the requests for sponsorships will be notified in email

All applicants must be an appropriate incorporated body or auspiced by an incorporated body.

Please allow up to 60 days for a response.

Community Sponsorship and Grants Guidelines

Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd recognises the important role community programs play in positively shaping our local community. Therefore, we provide financial support for community programs that help us achieve our vision of a strong community in the Dingley Village and the surrounding areas by fulfilling an identified need (including health and welfare, arts and culture, sports and recreation, youth, ageing and general community support) of the individuals based in the area.

Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd encourages organisations to apply for one-off grant funds of $10,001-$25,000 to support an existing or new community program that will have a positive impact on our local community.

The Application Process

Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd has funding available to be reinvested into the Dingley Village and the surrounding areas this year. Obtaining funds from this pool is a competitive process that takes place each quarter with $30,000 available in each round. Applications for quarter close on 30 September, 31 December, 31 March, 30 June. These applications are subsequently reviewed by the Board and Management of Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd..

Application forms should be completed in full.

Conditions of Funding

Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd funding will only be provided to organisations. These organisations must:

Be of a not-for profit nature;

Maintain banking status with Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd

Apply for funding no more than once per year;

Provide Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd with a receipt evidencing payment of the funding within 5 business days of receiving funds

Only use the funds as outlined in the relevant application form; ;

Spend the allocated funds within 12 months of receipt;

Report on the use of funds at the conclusion of the 12 month period;

Return any funds unused in the 12 month period;

Provide mutually agreed opportunities to promote the Dingley Village Community Bank branch to stakeholders through speaking engagements, etc.;

Be included in various promotional material and mediums;

Ensure that any person associated with the organisation consents (or has a parent/guardian consent on their behalf) for their image or likeness to appear in media;

Receive correspondence from Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd

Participate in any surveys conducted by Dingley Village Financial Services Ltd regarding the funding.
